From Abyssinia into Space

Czech amateur animated film both appeared and died out as a solitaire. Animated amateur movies were filmed in Prague, Brno, but also in Kladno, in Vysokov near Náchod and elsewhere.
The animated films show represents the most interesting pieces of amateur work during 1936–1987. Among Brno authors, there is also an interesting animated film Before the Doll Got Dressed by filmmaker Pavel Lukavský from Kladno.
