Awards Ceremony (video)

The Closing Ceremony of the 61st BRNO16 will take place right here in your living room this year! Join us on Friday at 8PM on Facebook or YouTube and enjoy the livestream hosted by Duncan Hendy. And what kind of ceremony would it be if there was no music?! Duncan’s band Eclectic Cinema, Tom Holič, and Mucha will be there to fulfill all your listening and dancing needs.

The Ceremony will be aired in English.

AWARDS IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE

All of our shorts have valiantly battled it out for the love and attention of juries and audiences. And so the Award Ceremony cannot be omitted from the Closing! And what kinds of awards are we awarding?

► The Main Prize – awarded by the Main Competition Jury – cash prize of 750 EUR
► Student Jury Prize – awarded by the Student Jury – cash prize of 380 EUR
► Prize of the Czechoslovak 16 Jury – awarded by the Czechoslovak 16 jury to the winning film of the Czechoslovak 16 – cash prize of 380 EUR
► Audience Award – awarded by the audience through voting – cash prize of 380 EUR

Audiences can vote throughout the entire duration of the festival using online form. The link is also pasted under each competition block. Choose your favourite and help its author win the Audience Award! Three of you will receive beautiful gifts.
