Emerging Artists: Greed for novelty

When it comes to short films, there are two categories. On one hand there are short films which rely on more or less conventional cinematic language. On the other hand there are films that are trying to question and break viewing habits of the audience. They constitute their own art form which has been described by a variety of terms. This compilation of films on hand is a successful experiment by the German Short Film Association.
