Jan Svěrák's Short Films

Svěrák's short films will be screened during the accompanying program of the festival. Some of his famous shorts are Goodbye Little Station (1984), Space Odyssey II (1986) and Oilgobblers (1988) which is a mockumentary about new species living on evironmental conditions that are fatal for people. With this student film he won his first Oscar, followed by Oscar winning Kolya – the best foreign language film.
