It is 1942. There are German public notices hanging everywhere, threatening people with a death sentence. A young couple are together in a room. It is clear from their conversation that the girl is of Jewish origin and is hiding at the boy's place to escape the transports. The young man comforts and hugs her. But they are both listening with fear for the sounds from the corridor. The girl refuses a more intimate embrace but she gladly dances with the boy to the sound of radio music.
