Taran
On the 8th September of 1914, the skies above Ukrainian town of Žokva witnessed historically first occurence of Taran - the maneuver of aerial ramming, when a pilot guides his plane into the aircraft of the enemy to destroy it. A Russian aerial acrobat Pyotr Nesterov lost his life ramming down a plane belonging to Austrian forces and piloted by František Malina, who also became the first Czech pilot killed in battle. Taran uses experimental technique of live animation to reenact the incident and at the same time shows, how aviation turned into a dangerous weapon and changed warfare forever.
