Platforms such as YouTube, Netflix, and HBO Go are widely used but what have they got in common with for example the iVysilani platform of Česká Televize? Internet televisions play a more significant role in the current film industry – are they accessible to young artists, short film debuts, and independent filmmakers, though? We will discuss new opportunities for often overlooked short films with:
Dorota Vašíčková – a lecturer of Film education at NFA and junior tester of the new-established VOD platform at Česká Televize, Peter Badač – the producer of several short films and a founder of the production company BFILM, Andy Fehu – director of several short films and series for Stream TV, and other specialists in film distribution.
