💀 Ossuary, candlelight and Jan Švankmajer 🕯️

Over four October evenings, you can head to the 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚎𝚕 𝙷𝚘𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚂𝚝 𝙹𝚊𝚖𝚎𝚜 for an exceptional night tour, which will include the screening of a short film 𝙾𝚜𝚜𝚞𝚊𝚛𝚢 Jan Švankmajer 🖤

An experimental film from 1970 takes viewers to the famous ossuary in Sedlec near Kutná Hora. In it, Švankmajer captures in his unmistakable way a space filled with tens of thousands of human bones and transforms it into a striking visual collage on the border between documentary and surrealism.

You can then walk through the Brno Ossuary without a guide, by candlelight only.

Night tours take place 15–18 October in times 𝟏𝟖:𝟑𝟎, 𝟏𝟗:𝟎𝟎, 𝟏𝟗:𝟑𝟎, 𝟐𝟎:𝟎𝟎 𝐚 𝟐𝟎:𝟑𝟎.
