Submit your film to the 59th edition of Brno 16!

The 59th edition of Brno 16 will take place on 10–13 October and you can register your films now . We accept short films no older than three years and no longer than half an hour. Registration is free of charge and available online.

Submit your films until 30. 6. 2018.

SUBSCRIBING TO THE COMPETITION IS POSSIBLE FOR REGISTRATION AND FILLING THE REGISTRATION SYSTEM FORM AND THE FOLLOWING PRESENTATION FILM BY 30.6.2018 ONLINE.

When filling in the form, a brief abstract of the film and other promotional materials (photos from the film, shooting, author information, or author photos) will be required. We announce the results of the tender during the month of September - on the website, e-mail and in the film registration system of Brno 16.

PARTICIPATION IN COMPETITION

Short films (1-30 minutes) that have not been commercially available and for commercial use are accepted into the competition. Advertising spots and publicity films will not be accepted. In the event of a dispute, the jury will definitely decide. Entered frames may not be older than 3 years. The competition can not include films that have already participated in this competition. Each film admitted to the competition authorizes one author or a representative (or a representative of a team of creators) to participate in the Brno 16 at the expense of the organizer who pays accommodation at the venue of the competition. Payment of the trip is settled individually. Part of the competition is the discussion of the competition photos with the present authors. For all regular participants in the competition, attendance at all accompanying events is free of charge.

SELECTION, EVALUATION AND AWARDS

All films submitted to the competition must be screened. The winner of the main prize will receive a prize of 800 Euros Prize: - Prize - Prizes awarded by the jury - Student jury prize - Student jury awarded - Audience prize - Audience voting The decision of the selection board and the jury is irrevocable.
